Hello Marlane, 

I've listened to your CD a couple of times. It is wonderful, beautiful.

There are moments on it when your voice sounds like incense 

rising up to God. I know that sounds dramatic, but it is so.

I used that sentence in a column I just sent in to the FCC.  (Fairfield County Catholic Newsletter).

 

There are times when that is the way your voice sounds. It is the voice of someone who has been kissed by God. In a very true sense you are gifted, creative.​ 

 

You glorify God.

You strengthen those who listen to those nine chants.

If I had to pick the two I enjoyed the most, they would be the second: "When We Walk in Love" and the last longer one: "Jesus is Risen, He

Walks the Earth Again." There was something about the words and the harmony that I found especially moving.

​

Who were those who made the harmonies with you? There was a choir at times and an individual at time - right? Were they people who performed with some of the performances you put on in Westport? It was all perfectly done.

 

The fact that most of the songs were little more than a minute, was just right.  One was eager for the next one.

​

Again, Marlane, the CD had touch of revelation about it.

The words, the depth and beauty of your voice, the harmonies were magnificent. 

 

There were moments on the CD when it could be said that

"I greet Him the days I meet Him,

and bless when I understand." from (G.M. Hopkin).
